The Chattanooga Writers' Guild in conjunction with Dalton State College will provide a free Saturday workshop August 27, 2011.

One writer admits that her characters ride around in the back seat of her car changing their dialogue as she runs her errands. Conclusion: Imagination and creativity are more potent than drugs.  


 The Chattanooga Writers' Guild in conjunction with Dalton State College will provide a free Saturday workshop, August 27, 2011, for all interested writers of fiction, nonfiction, flash fiction, freelance, memoir and more on the first floor of Brown Center, Dalton State campus, Dalton, GA.  Registration begins at 8:30 and continues until 9:00 after which attendees will choose between five 50 minute classes on:  Epublishing, Freelancing, Polishing Your Manuscript , and Alternative Venues for Writing Exposure.  Tony Burton, publisher from Ranger, GA, will speak on "The Publisher's View" followed by open panel discussions for poets and writers plus readings by authors from their own works and book signings. I.C.E. - a summer sizzle.
