Curmudgeon 2.0

Wow, my posts have been whiney lately! Especially the last one. 

What is saddest about "pet death" is that we are in a place in our culture where the death of a pet is even a matter of great concern to adults. No generation prior to the '60s would consider greeting cards and condolences over a pet's death remotely appropriate. 

But. . . it still hurts. Of course. Just don't compare it to a human. Most of us will put you in the category of insensitive.
